The Fantasy Sports Writers Association is pleased to announce that our Hall of Fame committee has selected Lawr Michaels for induction in 2019.

Over a career in fantasy sports that spanned more than two decades, Lawr's work was published by CBS, Fox Sports, USA Today, MLB.com, STATS Inc. and many other outlets. He founded CREATiVESPORTS in 1996 and began writing the Hotpage, which became the longest running weekly column in fantasy. Lawr was a two-time Tout Wars champion and consistent contender. He also served as a mentor and friend to countless writers.

Lawr passed away in December of 2018, but his exceptional work lives on and his impact on our industry is indelible.
