Three inducted into FSWA Hall of Fame
The News - Announcements

The 2014 FSWA Hall of Fame class has been announced. The six-person selection committee cast their final ballot and the class was announced live on Sirius XM Fantasy on October 3.

This year’s class includes…

John Hunt: John started working at USA Today in 1991, compiling stats and answering phone calls for the first generation of rotisserie geeks. He followed John Benson as the regular fantasy columnist for Baseball Weekly in 1993 and became arguably the most widely read writer in the industry during his tenure (1993-2006). Baseball Weekly’s circulation during his peak popularity exceeded 300,000 each week. John also launched LABR, the industry’s first national experts league, in 1994. John was named to the Fantasy Sports Trade Association Hall of Fame in 2013.

Matthew Pouilot: In the early days of Rotoworld, it was basically all Pouliot all of the time. He was hugely important in building the site and worked with and/or hired many of the top names in the business, including ESPN's Matthew Berry, NFL.com's Gregg Rosenthal and Rick Cordella, VP of NBC Sports Digital Media.

Jeff Erickson: Jeff became one of the founders of RotoNews.com in 1997 (later RotoWire.com), the first site to bring instant fantasy analysis to the Internet. Jeff has covered all four major fantasy sports and a host of secondary fantasy sports. He co-hosts RotoWire Fantasy Sports Today on Sirius XM, and his on-camera credits include appearances on ESPN, MLB Network and HuffPost Live. He's a two-time FSWA Baseball Writer of the Year and a former Tout Wars winner.

The Hall of Famers will be recognized January 15-16 at the 2015 FSTA Winter Conference in Las Vegas.
