FSWA members can submit a brief on behalf of someone not part of this year's list of 15 finalists for the FSWA Hall of Fame. The individual must meet HOF eligibility requirements. Briefs should be no fewer than 50 words, and no more than 500 words. The FSWA Hall of Fame Selection Committee Chairman will review all of the submissions and present up to three to the Legends Committee for consideration.

The deadline to submit your brief is December 1. No more than one brief per FSWA member will be allowed. In the brief, FSWA members are asked to explain why the candidate deserves consideration, and how he/she meets the criteria for the Hall of Fame.

The Legends Committee (made up of FSWA Hall of Fame members) was added to the process this year to ensure worthy candidates do not slip through the cracks. The chairman is encouraged to check each brief for accuracy. The Legends Committee will score the submissions, and the highest-scoring candidate will gain entrance to the Hall of Fame, assuming he/she receives at least two-thirds of the available points.
