Mission

Fantasy Sports Writers Association (FSWA), was founded and designed to be a voice for writers in the arena of fantasy sports. The FSWA will function as an advocate for fantasy writer's concerns and seek to address any adverse issues that may arise. Moreover, the FSWA will strive to promote and acknowledge the hard work and dedication shown by fantasy sports writers throughout the industry.

Fantasy Sports Writers Association will also serve to recognize the work of fantasy sports writers by means of annual awards for journalistic excellence. The FSWA will also provide grants to aspiring young students who are looking for opportunities in sports journalism.

Additionally, the site will act as a place to network aspiring writers with job openings throughout the industry. Companies and writers who are members of the FSWA will have access to a networking message board designed to allow writers to network with parent companies.

They represent every genre of fantasy sports and have over 100+ combined years of fantasy sports experience. These distinguished individuals have helped to pioneer this industry and are solely dedicated to representing and promoting our membership.

College Grants - Your membership dues will help support a special grant opportunity for aspiring Journalism majors who are entering college. FSWA will sponsor a writing contest each year that any college bound journalism majors can participate in. The grant criteria will be selected based on various factors and outlined by the Board of Directors. The grant recipient will be awarded the grant to assist with his/her college tuition. Grants will be awarded each year and provided by FSWA.org.
